Milk you can trust
Five generations, one family
We're the McDowells. Armagh — say it ar-MAH — is named for our family's roots in County Armagh, Northern Ireland.
Our dairy heritage goes back nearly a century, to great-great-grandparents who emigrated with a handful of Jersey cows and bought a farm in Petaluma, California. In 2010 we moved the family to Dublin, Texas, and three generations now work the farmstead together.
We milk our cows on-site and bottle the milk raw within hours. We also handcraft organic double-cream yogurt and our Doublin' Down brie in small batches, using traditional European methods and nothing but real, simple ingredients. It's the food we serve our own families.

Loved by Texas families
"You will never want milk from the store again after you try it!"
"We do the bi-weekly raw milk subscription and will never go back to processed milk again. The taste is amazing, creamy, and always consistent. Armagh lab tests every batch so the worry of getting bad product is never an issue."
"We buy 4 gallons of raw milk every week. What a blessing to have Armagh in our lives. We've nourished our 3 children with raw milk for the past 6 months. Customer service is outstanding."

Is there a pickup spot near me?
Our open North Texas drop sites are in Dallas, Farmers Branch, Fort Worth, Watauga, Arlington, White Settlement, Weatherford, Brock and Glen Rose. A few others — Colleyville, Crowley, Granbury and Waxahachie — are currently full, and you can join their waitlist.
Pickup days and times vary by site, and some sites are every-other-week rather than weekly, so it's worth checking before you sign up.
What does it actually cost?
$25 one-time membership, then from $6/week for a ½ gallon. Your drop site adds a $2–$3 pickup fee per pickup, which varies by location.
No contract and no minimum term — skip any week free, and cancel whenever you like.
Is raw milk safe to drink?
Yes — and we take that seriously. We're a Texas-licensed raw milk dairy (Plant #P481921), and we lab-test every single batch ourselves. The State Health Department also tests our milk monthly and quarterly for food-borne pathogens.
We operate under a strict test-and-hold policy: if coliform counts are above standard, the milk doesn't leave the farm. Our cows are blood-tested yearly by a licensed veterinarian and verified free of Bovine TB and Brucellosis — both zero tolerance.
How does weekly ordering and pickup work?
You pick your size and frequency when you sign up. Each week, we text you when harvest starts, and you have until 5pm Monday to add extras or skip the week. Then you grab your order fresh from your chosen drop site.
What if I go on vacation or want to skip a week?
Skip free, anytime. We'll text you when harvest starts — just reply by 5pm Monday to skip that week. No charge, no fees, no questions.
Can I add extras (yogurt, brie, more milk)?
Yes. You can subscribe to extras alongside your milk share, or add one-time extras to any week's order before the 5pm Monday cutoff.
How long does the raw milk stay fresh?
Sealed and stored at 36°F, our raw milk stays sweet and fresh for 12 days. Once opened, drink within 5–7 days. It can also be frozen.
Unlike pasteurized milk, raw milk doesn't go rancid — it ages and sours, which is still useful for baking, sourdough starters, smoothies, pets, and plants.
I'm lactose intolerant — can I drink raw milk?
Some people who don't tolerate store-bought milk well find raw milk sits easier with them, though this varies a lot from person to person and isn't something we can promise. If you have a diagnosed lactose intolerance or a dairy allergy, please check with your doctor first.
Can I buy Armagh raw milk at a store?
No — Texas regulates raw milk differently than pasteurized milk. The state only allows us to deliver pre-purchased milk to members. That's why the Creamery Club exists: it's the only legal way to get our raw milk in North Texas.
Our yogurt and cheese are a different story — you'll find those at Texas farmers markets and retail stores, including Cowtown Farmers' Market in White Settlement on Saturdays.
